Everything you need to know to participate in KTF elections as a voter.

Verify Your Eligibility

To vote, you must be a registered KTF member in good standing. This means:

  • Your membership is active and current
  • All membership fees are paid
  • No pending disciplinary actions against you
  • Your name appears on the voter registry

How to check: Log in to your KTF account at app.tchoukball.ke/dashboard, or type "membership" on WhatsApp to check your status.

How to Vote

KTF provides four voting channels. Choose the one most convenient for you:

In-Person (E-7 to E-3)

  1. Visit a designated polling station during E-7 to E-3
  2. Present your National ID at the registration desk
  3. Receive your ballot paper
  4. Mark your choices in the private booth
  5. Drop your ballot in the sealed box

Note: No voting takes place on E-Day. E-Day is for results only.

Web Ballot

  1. You will receive a secure voting link via WhatsApp/SMS
  2. Tap the link to open the ballot in your browser
  3. Review candidates for each position
  4. Select your preferred candidates
  5. Review and confirm your selections
  6. You will receive a confirmation code

WhatsApp

  1. Type "vote" or "election" on the KTF WhatsApp
  2. Select "Cast Your Vote" from the menu
  3. Choose the active election
  4. For each position, select your candidate
  5. Confirm your vote
  6. Receive your ballot confirmation

USSD (Feature Phones)

  1. Dial the KTF USSD short code
  2. Select "Elections" from the menu
  3. Select "Cast Vote"
  4. Enter your membership number
  5. Follow the prompts for each position
  6. Confirm with your PIN

Important: Once you start voting on one channel, you will be locked to that channel for 5 minutes. You can only vote once per election — your vote is final once confirmed.

Results are announced at the Election-AGM. You can also check them via:

File a Dispute (If Needed)

If you believe there was an irregularity, you can file a dispute within 14 days of results declaration.

  • Online:Through the elections page on the KTF website
  • WhatsApp:Type "file dispute" to start the dispute process
  • Written:Submit a formal letter to the IEC Chairperson
